TE3N: 3.5/5

It has been a long time since we got to watch movie like "Kahaani" again. A movie that came very close to it was Drishyam which really excited many thriller lovers. And another movie which was also a fine attempt in this genre was "Wazir". Finally, when the trailer of "Te3n" got released, I was enough excited to watch it as it looked like composition of Kahaani and Wazir. Now that I am done watching the movie, I can say that it's one of the best made thriller in Bollywood and thankfully, the director have not disappointed me. Ribhu Dasgupta should be applauded for making such a movie which keeps you interested right from the first frame till the end.

The composure of Amitabh Bachchan gives TE3N the much needed power. His body language speaks the whole story of the character and you are made to believe in his will to know the person behind the death of his grand-daughter. Even after 8 years, the grandfather is struggling to find the murderer and even helping police by doing most of the tasks himself. The twist comes in the tale when a similar case takes place again after 8 years. Police starts connecting the dots while grandfather is in his own world searching for the previous murderer in the same zest. Finally, the murderer is found and the way whole plot is revealed gives the audience the pleasure they were awaiting for the 2 hours.

The screenplay of the movie is very gripping and each frame has its importance. The character of Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also entertaining as how he turns into a Church father from a policeman because of getting tired because of a case. Amitabh B keeps challenging him to work with him to find the murderer but the way he keeps shrugging him off are scenes to watch. Later, the entry of Vidya Balan also brings the charm to the screen. All the other performances also match up with the lead star-casts. The songs are fine. Dialogues are amazing. Overall, I give the movie 3.5* out of 5.

 Thanks.
