"Kaash Main Salman Jaisa Dikhta" "Aur Kaash Main Katrina Jaisi"

            489th BLOG -->>

Obama in front of  uncountable White Americans!!!
Every morning, X wakes up. He goes to the mirror, sees himself, smiles and says- I am looking Good. Then, he starts brushing his teeth and he keeps seeing himself in the mirror and says to himself- I don't look much cool when I brush my teeth so from tomorrow, I will be brushing my teeth in the bathroom's wash-basin so that no one sees me in this condition. Then, he takes a bath and tries many hairstyles and finally finalizes one at the 27th attempt. Then, he rubs Men's fairness cream on his forehead and cheeks and once again sees himself and gives a Thumbs Up to him. Now, he wears shoes and just when he was about to close the door, he comes to the mirror and sees himself once again and says - Perfect. He locks the door and reaches the bus stand. He meets his friend Y and asks "Bhai, kaisa lag raha hun?" Y replies,"Nahi yaar. Your new hairstyle is covering your forehead and thus you aren't looking that chocolaty as you look everyday." X starts feeling uncomfortable and restless and he takes out his comb from his trouser's pocket and goes to a nearby Sumo, stands in front of its rear glass and starts styling his hairs again in his usual way. He comes back an asks Y again,"Ab?" And Y gives a thumbs up and now he again starts feeling like a King.

Some of you may realize that this is how I react when someone says that I am not looking as handsome/beautiful as I normally look. People are quite obsessed with their looks and thus they feel it uncomfortable when they see that a boy/girl didn't gave them a second look. It can be easily deciphered that looks can affect the confidence of a good-looking person quite easily. When you see a teacher of your college who looks his/her's best everyday, you start giving a change to your outlook. You start behaving weirdly every morning. You become insecure about yourself. You start feeling that if I'll not look good, the female friends of mine may not spend much time with me and rather spend it with my best friend. "The girl who has crush on me may change her mind and start liking someone else because my face didn't attracted her like everyday" The thought process can start reacting to your insecurity so unpredictably that you may even turn down into depression.

Very few people are confident about their looks. Others feel that their look will attract people towards themselves but they forget few examples where the deeds, the work, the interaction and the free attitude of people makes them everyone's heartthrob. There are many beautiful ladies who rejects their lover with extremely wonderful physique and looks but selects someone who is dusky in complexion and short in height. The reason behind it is only one- Just observe the success of both men and you will get your answer.

I am not trying to be offensive but I would like to name some famous personalities those who had no great looks but their work had made them Super-special for the common people-

1. Rajnikanth: This man has no feature which can drive a girl crazy but his power of acting and his unique style of work made him the biggest Superstar India ever had. Today, no actor has the capability of shaking the multiplexes and single-screen theaters except him.

2. Sachin Tendulkar: When he debuted, he had bunch of curly hairs on a small face which made him look funny. But the magnificence of his batting power on the field has made him a God figure in the world.

3. Shah Rukh Khan: I remember when I was in primary school, my friends used to call Shahrukh Khan a monkey because they liked Salman Khan very much (and even SRK looked like a monkey initially). SRK came into the industry when it already had handsome heroes with good bodies and face but still, he managed to grab a romantic role after his villainous work in Darr. Today, he is the only star who is compared with Superstar- Amitabh Bachchan.

4. P.T. Usha: After Sachin Tendulkar of Cricket and Vishwanathan Anand of Chess, if you will remember any big sportsperson of India who is successful worldwide- you will remember P.T. Usha for athletics. She has a typical South Indian look but her records are chart-buster.

5. Michael Jackson: One more Godly figure for his fans- Michael Jackson had the worst look. Even when his plastic surgery made him look too fair, not even a single girl would have agreed to kiss him if he would have been a common man.

6. Oprah Winfrey: She has been ranked the richest African American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and was for a time the world's only black billionaire. She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world. But, again, her personality is unattractive.

I think these examples are enough for the people who feel that they are unattractive to feel motivated by now. Start doing good work and you will find good-looking people running behind you even if you look disgusting. A dusky skin cannot be turned into milky white but a lazy attitude can be turned into an achieving attitude. Bring that "achieving" attitude in you and then see what your personality does to others. They'll make you their inspiration and they'll follow you. They'll say that you are great even when you look worst. They'll never even realize that you look dull and ugly. They'll just notice your work and they'll go mad for even touching you or even seeing you once in their lifetime. So, looks doesn't matter in life if you have that attitude of achieving the biggest spot in your life. So, stop acting like X, stop focusing on mirror and start focusing on your attitude and make it worthy to let others get influenced by it.

Thanks. I hope you understood the motto of the post and please, no offense  meant to the celebrities I have mentioned above as an example. It is all in good will.

Sorry buddy did'nt get to read/comment on the blog for the past month.
However I did go through them and finally here comes a post that really feels and sounds like your trademark work :)
Keep it up buddy :) One small request, you are a great writer, I expect to read more of your original work rather than some book reviews :P
Sorry for being an ass on my return, however you are too good a writer and so I consider the book reviews a waste of your talent :P
But that's my opinion only.
However, Looking forward to many more wonderful articles from you :) Cheerios !!
P.S I am heading back to India on 29th Dec, let me know if I can get anything for you;also I would like to remind you about the 'Special Request' I had made of you. Hope to see it before I return to India :) :D
