Karwachauth & Broked The Hidden Pot !!!

The ladies have gone to bed early. Its ‘Karvachauth’ tomorrow, the day they shall pray for the long and prosperous life of their husbands. They will be up by 4 am for the ‘Sargi’, when decked in all their fineries they shall have specially cooked food and then fast the entire day, till they see the moon at night. The men shall be sent to various vantage points by the evening, to try and spot the moon so the ordeal that their wives have been through, eases. The moon is not seen by the ladies directly. They will see it through a sieve. The sieve that sifts the flour before it is moistened and baked to make our ‘roti’. ‘Divas’ made of the ‘ata’, or the moistened flour shall be thrown over the shoulder as they put their backs to the moon, a small prayer will follow, they shall touch the husbands feet and finally will be fed by his hands ; generally an Indian sweet meat. During the day there will be a narration of the reasons why the fast is held and the mythological stories shall be backed by the playing of specially recorded songs for the moment, if the group of ladies that collect at a common house, are not accustomed to singing it themselves. For most of the day, the wives shall remain dressed in bridal clothing. Those that are not married, often follow this routine in order that they may get good husbands.

Indian culture and custom are so endearing and warming to the heart. I guess every culture has something in it that stands out, that brings joy and happiness with it, else it would not be called culture or tradition. How wonderfully our forefathers and their forefathers thought about these customs and how wonderfully generation after generation has followed it through with belief and resolve. What are we in this generation believing in ? What is our resolve ? And what are we leaving behind for those that will come after us in the generations to come. Our teachings and our scriptures are elements that have been foremost in the efforts made to carry forward. Customs and rites have been through the years, classical music in India because it is not written has passed from one master to the pupil, as have dance forms. This tradition of passing on, of teaching and educating the next generation has to some extent protected these old and valued crafts. But what exactly are we leaving behind other than this.

Maths lecture-The last one got bunked...Sharing partner was Yusuf....And what we did after bunking.....it was useless act of sitting in a corner of the compus of our Bharati Vidyapeeth...and trying to discover something new ...Plannig something new..Talking about the class....Trying to explore some hidden facts.....And we were successful in some and some were just our predictions...We had the mobile of Sohail with us....I checked it out and found the no of Personality..this is the code Im using for that girl...Hope you will understand whom Im trying to refer to....Her name was saved as Junaid in his mobile..I checked up the whole mobile and saw a SMS from her ...Which consisted of the words that...I'll give birth and Ill pray to god that keep all the behaviours of my child the same as Sohail has and I dont want to miss a friend like u so I'll name my child as SOHAIL....Both of us were shocked after reading this SMS...When we were in an affair...She wrote the same sentence to me that...I dont want to miss a friend like you even for a single second...and the same sentence she has used here.....I think this girl will continue this type of flirtings even in her graveyard...How to use boys...She knows this very well...and she is applying her knowledge all over the boys in our class...No one has been away from her this conspiracy which she is planning with herself...What will be the end of this girl....Im just waiting to see that...

Today there was an argument in the class.....where Sohail replied to her aggressively..She used the sentence that...College ke aakhri din main tum sub ko bataaungi tumhari kamiyaan...and Sohail replied to this wierd statement of her...and I loved what he did.....WOW....in the C lecture..She was sitting all alone..Nobody was ready to talk to her...and that what I wanted...You were my Ex-GF.....and right now...You are my FOE.....and I'll maintain this relationship my dear....Jaanu...this is what I used to call her....while we were in relationship...

Oh! the college warned you about this?!
Man! that means that your blogs are very effictive! and dangerous too! use it wisely.
But seriously speaking, the college has no right to stop you from writing whatever you want as it would mean denial to the Right Of Expression, denial to the Right Of Free Speech. And that is against the law. But keep in mind that you are a student of a private institution so they are free to take any decision. They can go to any extent. So watch your back.
