BEGINNING of the END --> DECEMBER!!!

        And the last month of the Year 2015 begins.. I love whenever the month of December arrives because of the countdown towards giving the final climax to our year and making it either our best or worst. The final 31 days are in our hands to change the fate of our year if it has not been up to the mark till now. Every year is important for us and that's the only reason why people are always excited about celebrating a New Year because they wait for it with new hopes. Sometimes, we aren't happy with the few things that happen with us during a particular year because of which we plan great things for the upcoming year without knowing the kind of challenges that are going to be thrown upon us. And this leads to disappointment every year because it ends up being the same as the previous one.

             Hence rather than waiting for the new year to begin and expecting yourself to change and improve overnight over a resolution, it's time to wake up just today itself and put your 200% in these 31 Days that are with us to make 2015 a great year for ourselves. Watching Facebook Videos. Reading Tweets on Intolerance. Forwarding messages on Whatsapp. Surfing the products on Amazon/Flipkart. Hanging out for movies. Editing selfies for Instagram. These activities have already taken almost 1/2 of your time this year. It's time to boycott them and do them for as little time as possible so that you can do things which can really make you feel proud of yourself whenever you'll look back at 2015. Yes, may be the moment for achieving those few rare things would have passed by now but still if you make something great in this month, you might recover at least little of those lost moments. Isn't it?

           We shouldn't see December as an end to something but a beginning of a beautiful end. It's in our hands to put all our efforts and at least make 2015 better than whatever it has been till now. Even if it is going at your level best, you can make it even better than that. Haven't you seen how Aamir Khan breaks all the records made through out the year by almost 200 films that release every particular year? :-) Best things can happen in the end to create the record which have not been created in the first 11 months of the year. 

              2015 has been an eventful year for me but still I am looking for scoring few records before the year ends. My target for the year was 60 books. I have completed reading 56. 4 more to go. I wanted to accomplish 200 BLOG POSTS. With this, I would be left with 13 Blog Posts which I am also targeting to complete. I have my first mid-term exams of MBA and I am looking forward to scoring at least 55% in them. There are few targets in my profession world which I won't like to discuss here. So by the time I complete my targets of next 31 days, you can do yours in parallel. Let's meet again on 31st December and discuss regarding how December helped us in making our year 2015 better than it was before the last month arrived. I hope you will understand the point I am trying to make. So let's welcome 2015 with open arms and LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN.........

Chowki Dhaani: An Experience of 6 Hours!!!

            This weekend, a family friend asked us to visit Chowki Dhaani located near Kalyan at outskirts of Mumbai. I had heard a lot about it hence I thought of giving it a go. The place is themed on Rajasthan and almost everything is developed as if you have entered the state. The rural environment, the houses made up by mud and earth without any new technology, whole place lit up by lantern, two camels in the vicinity, a traditional bail-gaadi taking rounds, three astrologers sitting in three different corners, a man giving head massage under a small shade, two women dancing with 4 pots on her head one above another while 3 men playing dholak, a small boy walking on a rope almost 10 feet above the ground, a potter making small pots, a puppet show taking place in other corner, people selling the products sitting under the hut and few people sharing tea and snacks to us. 

               As soon as you enter the place, you will find it very interesting as you watch such scenarios only in movies. But after going through all the events happening in the area, you do not understand what to do for rest of the hours at this place. It becomes boring later on. The entry fees is Rs. 600 for adults and Rs. 350 for the children. The tea, snacks and dinner is included in the price. Also several other things are for free but the problem is that the people displaying their talent which is meant for free make expressions which makes you give out some money to them. If you don't, you would look like the person because of whom India is getting intolerant. Haha! The dinner tasted very bad and not a single dish tasted like the epic Rajasthani cuisine which people talk about once they return back from the state of Rajas and Maharajas.

             My over all experience was very bad and I would better spend Rs. 6000 at Rajasthan than spending Rs. 600 here. I am sharing few pictures out of many that I clicked there. I am not sharing much because I want even you to go there and waste your money like me so that I become little satisfied of my bad experience. Go, as soon as possible, the CHOWKI DHAANI is waiting for you.

Review: Bang Baaja Baaraat: The FINALE saves the series!!! ***

      I am just done watching the 5th and Finale Episode of Y Films' short web-series "Bang Baaja Baaraat". This is the 2nd major series by Y Films after Man's World which I found very mediocre and repetitive and nothing much creative about it. But Bang Baaja Baaraat is definitely an improvement from their 1st series and now I wish that all their future web-series are at least as much entertaining as BBB is. The director and writers have done a great job with BBB where they have shown how a couple chose to marry each other and then inform their parents. Both the families are poles apart as boy's family belongs from a rural background while girl's family belongs to this rich and elite group where divorce and having extra-marital affair with a person as young as your son/daughter is common. The several differences between both the families come in between the marriage every now and then even when they agree for it. This is the X factor of this series which makes you eager for each and every episode.   

          I liked the first two episodes where the story gradually picks up. The tantrums thrown by boy's parents, especially mother, makes us laugh every now and then. Also the girl's pool party is wonderfully filmed though I found it quite weird but I believe that such things happen among elite class in metro cities. The moment where the 2nd episode ends made me more curious about how well the 3rd episode would start but I was very much disappointed the way 3rd and 4th episode took up. It was only in the 5th and finale episode, also the longest of all i.e. 22 minutes, which gives a great ending to this season which will be remembered as one of the coolest web-series in India. The maturity with which the last episode is made shows clearly that the makers had their thoughts at the right place right from the moment they must have started scripting this. There's nothing disappointing in any conversation or scene that takes place in finale which finally made me the fan of the series. 

          The performances have also been equally good. The protagonists have played their parts perfectly. Though the boy didn't display the best of his capabilities as he stays almost in the same mood for the most parts of the series, girl have surely won heart. She looks gorgeous, hot, sexy and tempting and with all this, she also acted perfectly. Everyone else around the characters are equally good. Talking about the drawbacks of the series, I would say that they could have made 3rd and 4th episode with the same maturity too. Similarly, though 80% of the story seems realistic, 20% is still difficult to relate with. Next time I would like the makers to do something which looks 100% real and relating to a general audience like me. Rest, I would give this series 3 stars out of 5.
