Live From London by Parinda Joshi !!!

            Finished an another novel "Live From London" by Parinda Joshi. Let's talk about Parinda first. I liked the name of the author very much. It defines the will of a person to break all the barriers and fly as high as possible. :-) Parinda Joshi works in the field of Analytics in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. She is a freelance columnist and a professional photographer.  Traveling tops her wish list and her favourite pastime is people watching. One night she saw a dream that she is reading a book which is been written by her. She suddenly woke up and she decided that she will write one. She started writing and in 5 months, she had the finished product in her hand. Finally, the book got released on 11th July, 2011. 


           Live From London is a book about a girl Nishi who has completed her degree from a renowned college of London. Her father wants her to take professional life seriously while she wants to cross the barrier by taking up her passion for music and singing. She ends up being humiliated in the audition of Britain's Got Talent. After that, she starts working as an intern in a record-label company. After few days of her job, she is introduced to a rockstar- Nick. As obvious, both of them falls for each other and she gets a chance to debut in an album of Nick. But fate has something else for her and she has to return to India because of some reasons. Now, she is in Mumbai- the city which provides opportunity to many. Whether she gets what she wants from life in this city of India, get the book, read it and know it yourself. :-)

          Coming to the review, its a chick-lit which is interesting at some places and boring at some. Book has nothing special in it except the cover-page, author's name :-), author's image on the back cover :-), theme of the story and language of the book. The topic selected for the book is wonderful and Parinda could have tried to explore many hidden and shocking facts of music industry. But she kept it quite easy and simple. None of the character is described properly so that you can attach yourself with it. Book seems to be written in a hurry as to meet a deadline or something. Author has the knack of writing but as its her first experience in this world of books, she failed to create the magic which Rupa Publication's other books has managed to. This book will get into bestseller list for sure because of its wonderful cover page, title and theme. I am not impressed with the story but I am impressed with the author. Book is filled with innocent humors. There is not even a single sentence where vulgarity has been shown. There are so many "What-the-fuck" moments in the book but still author has managed to keep this 3 words out of the book. She has written it with decency and an approach. Even if the climax would have been better, I would have rated it as a recommendation but even that is done in a hurry. You can read this book while traveling as its just 204 pages and an easy read. It can be read once. I would rate this book an average- 2.5 out of 5. And I am expecting something incredible from Parinda in her 2nd book as there are many writers who have failed in impressing the readers in their debut work but later on, they have managed to catch on the nerves of readers. Parinda mam, I am waiting for your 2nd one.

Beginning of a New Era- 501st........

            501st BLOG POST -->>

       So, finally, I am stepping into an another era of my Blogging. It feels so good to type "501st". A wait to complete 500 Blog Posts is over. Now, I am someone who has scripted 500 Blog Posts without a so-called break in last 2.4 years. The love you all have given to my 500th Blog Post is so natural and lovely. I would like to spend my 501st Blog post in thanking you all. Let's start the real work of blogging from the 502nd. The day I wrote 500th Blog Post, I didn't wanted to make it the best post of mine. Otherwise, I would have attempted another fiction which is loved by all of you. Many thought that I may do something too creative in 500th Blog Post. No buddies, I just wanted to tell you all know about my feeling as a Blogger and nothing else. I talk very less about my journey/feeling as a blogger so in my Century's post(which has happened for 5 times till now), I try to write something which will help my readers know about the way my Blogging has traveled in last 2 years and 4.5 months. 


           The love on 500th Blog Post has been showered as a blessing on me. Thanks to everyone. People were saying me on Twitter and Facebook that why do you count your comments too when you claim the number of comments being posted on your 500th Blog. My only reply to them was: When you aren't commenting on my post, I will have to do something to pull you towards my blog. :-) Actually, I saw many bloggers counting their comments too in the number of comments they get on the most popular blog post written by them, so I liked the promotion funda and I followed the same. :-) What's wrong in promoting when even the THREE KHANS of Bollywood promote their movies like Beggar asks for a penny in a local train. :-) So, what if I begged for some comments? Hahaha. I hope a new conclusion will not be made from this opinion of mine: BLOGGERS are BEGGAR !!! No, we are not beggar, we are hungry of readers. :-)

             So, these are the best beautiful words I found in the comment section of my blog. You can see a girl named- Avantika commenting on my blog and calling me bhaiiya. Seriously speaking, I don't know this girl and I never knew that a girl named Avantika reads my blog. Avantika, its my request from you to please help me know who you are. Even I like to know my readers. :-)


           Many people asked me for initializing movie reviews too. Actually, I don't have interest in watching much movies. I don't even watch 10 movies in a year. 1-2 in multiplexes and 3-4 on television. Not more than this. Some asked me to write more book reviews while some said that I should reduce the number of book reviews I write. It's my vacations right now and hence I am completing a book in a day because of which too many reviews is being raining on my blog. Once my college will start, they'll give me my ex-gf back to me- PROJECT and after that, I'll have to give all my time to her. :-) Even Day and even NIGHT :-) So, you are going to see approximately 5-6 reviews in a month from February. This time no one pointed an allegation on me that I do write some stuffs unnecessarily just to increase the number of Blog Posts. Thank God. I seriously don't write numerous blogs to increase the number. You can check out the number of blogs I have written in 2011. It is far less than the number of blogs I wrote in 2010. 


              And now, coming to the most important point. Many people requested me to stop being abusive and too frank on Twitter. They said that its fine that you don't write these abusive words on your Blog but a person who starts liking you as a Blogger, goes and checks all your work- either on Twitter, Facebook or anywhere on Internet. So, everyone said that people doubt me and my character once they see that this guy has two faces- One of Twitter and One of Blog. So, friends, I am sorry that I compelled all of you to doubt me for this silly reason. I have almost decided that I will tweet less from now. And even if I'll feel like abusing on something, I'll do it in a straight-forward manner rather than vulgarizing the same thing. I hope people will not feel ashamed of following me on Twitter too, then. Some of you even say that I am fine with whatever I post on Twitter but even I feel that I should confine my usage of abusive words on Twitter. I hope I'll change it soon. :-) 


            Many people created their blog by seeing me. They said that even they have some things to share with people around us so even we will write. "You are our inspiration". See friends, let me tell you, Inspiration is different and Copying is different. You have not been inspired from my work, you are just trying to copy it. Seeing my Blog which is 500 posts older, try something different in your life in which you think you can influence others and make them do something in life rather than sitting and watching television and sports for the whole day. There are freelancing jobs which you can do by following sports, there are many different things in the world by doing which you can make your name in it like I am trying to do it through blogging. It's not necessary to select Blogging just by seeing the fanciness around my blog. Please, don't get influenced in this manner. Try to understand. Hope, I am not sounding arrogant. :-)


            Ending my 501st Blog with a commitment that I will try many more genres of writing in my next 100 blog posts and I hope at my 600th Blog post, you will say that I have grown up a lot since my 500th Post. :-) And I need your love in life. "Your Support is my Success" This is the key line of my Blog which you can see at the top of the page. Nothing else makes me feel successful other than your support and comments. Keep talking to me through blog's comment section, Twitter(link is on my page), Facebook or GTalk and keep letting me know what you like about my blog and what you dislike. 500* BLOGS in 867 Days with Lakhs of YOU !!!

            500th BLOG POST -->>

     "Wo hamari ungliyaan kya choom ke chal diye, hum umarr bharr likhtey hi reh gaye"


         I have been the most agog person for seeing the 500th post on my blog and finally, I am too blithe to see it. It sounds so dulcet and mellisonant to hear the unbosoming comments of the readers when they say that they are waiting for my Blog to embellish and become more semantic. Many call me a Writer but I see myself as a servitor of my readers. There used to be a time when I had to bear excruciating comments of some educated and fledged people but now, I get to hear from the same people that I have transmogrified my blog quite intensely. I hope that I will keep talking nimble issues on my blog and I will keep entertaining a very good mass of people who are really interested in reading. Otherwise, it's not an easy task to find a blog on this world-wide internet and follow it regularly for more than a year or 2. Kudos to all of you.


            For being the creator of these 500 blog posts, I would like to thank myself first. I know how I had annulled the propensity of procrastination from me. Being one of the many dizzy young boys, I managed to exonerate my laziness and dizziness. Today, when I open my blog page and see the number of posts, I feel quite austere of me. Believing in pantheism, I have always prayed and devoted all the Gods and I think its their blessing that I have been continuing my journey of blogging (which is almost incredulous for many) with such an ease. Love God and see the Impossibility being created by you. I have been spurned by many people in the initial days because I lacked in this knack of writing. I didn't had good skill and good knowledge of how to form words into sentences which can create emotions and compel someone to think for a long time about what he read in my blog. But now, I am happy that people have stopped piquing on me. :-) 


              This journey of blogging has taught me a lot of things. It has taught me how to be diplomatic, robust, straight-forward, to take a stand on what I said and face overture whenever it comes from the part of critic. I know I have written many ludicrous posts too but those posts have taught me that it is how you understand the discrepancy between the GOOD and the BAD. Now, I know how to state the inept issues by rehashing it with simplicity and pragmatism. Sometimes, my views has been petulant for some pious people but it makes me proud that the readers are enough mature that they didn't tried to detriment me, neither did they said something with abhorrence, neither did they called me uncouth or tosh and neither did they upbraided me too severely. People have always stated their points of view against mine but they never inculpated me of being someone who is interested in fanfaronading. They have made me exalt. They have tried to make me insurmountable and indefatigable. When people say that I am too precocious in this field of writing, I feel dulcet to hear it. The way I had put efforts and slogged to make this blog a BLAND STAGE of speaking and delivering the motivating and alerting issues is known to me and my sleepless nights which has made my blog updates a nocturnal event. :-)

            The process of writing 500 BLOG POSTS in the duration of 867 days has been quite consistent. A journey which started from 31st July,2009 has delivered a post in every 1.72 days till 15th December,2011 (i.e. today). I completed my 1st 100 Blogs in 105 Days, 2nd 100 Blogs in 178 Days, 3rd 100 Blogs in 111 Days, 4th 100 Blogs in 225 Days and now the 5th 100 Blogs have been written in 258 Days. The 158 dots days between 401st post and 500th post is a matter of shame for me but I will try to reduce the gap between this in my next 100. Yes, I am not going to stop writing. :-) What did you thought? I have written about many distinct topics in my last 100 blogs. I would like to share some wonderful topics with you all. My fictional stories have gathered the most appreciation and plaudits so let me name some very wonderful posts. Teri Meri Meri Teri Prem Kahani and When They Raped My Daughter has been vindicated in the list of Best 2 Posts ever written by me. People have read the former one for more than 20-20 times. I have written almost 10-15 fictional posts in this span of time. I have reviewed more than 20 books within this 100 posts. I have also written on wonderful topics such as death of Osama, Bal Thackeray, Ramdev Baba, Anna Hazare, Tobacco and Cigarette, education system, reviewed 2 movies too :-), safety of girls, 64th year of Independence, networking business, Muslim's roza, how children cheat parents, Amitabh Bachchan, Twitter's craze, 26/11, Kolaveri Di's ineffectiveness, Sehwag's 219, Kapil Sibal's censorship order and many more posts. I have written about my life experiences too but I have seen that people are least interested in knowing about me so let's skip that part. :-)


            But the amount of love people have shown on my fictional posts is amazing. I just can't believe that the stories being created by me are shared on Facebook by others. I am too vinous for reading books and hence I started reviewing books incessantly, people warned me that this may conclude my blog as quietus for many but I have seen a superb response from them. The people who never read books started purchasing after seeing my high ratings for them. I am thankful to God that my prehension is augmenting day by day with experience and I'm penning those topics which are exciting my readers. It is not easy to satisfy and impress lakhs of readers who are under the ambit of the follower-ship of your blog. When they are under my contour, I try my best to deliver the best to them. While writing blogs, I make it sure that I'm in a tranquil state of mind so that I don't write something which turns out to be transitory. I am being requested for leaving billingsgate on Twitter as it doesn't suits the personality of a Blogger like me who is in hearts of many ( I will try my least :-)). Thank God, I haven't still used that moulder, decaying and menacing language here-on my Blog. :-) The people who read my tweets will understand easily. :-)


            After serving to my henchmen for almost 867 days i.e. 2 yrs and 4.5 months, I will try to be versatile even in future and I hope I may not turn wearisome as some of you have started feeling because of number of books I'm reviewing. See, it is because I want everyone to read. I am a book reader and I know what pleasure it gives to me. It has helped me to convert my permanent hell into purgatory. It has helped me to come out of that lament situation. It has taught me to be true and correct rather than being mendacious. It has taught me to be simple and funny rather than being overweening and fanfaronad-ing. I have never tried to suborn anyone for promoting my blog or giving it a hype. Many interrogate me and asks me that they can see a huge mass following my blog than why don't I get featured in Newspapers and Blog promotion's sites. When I have my sweet henchmen's love and virtue with me, do u think I need to get published anywhere to make it pellucid that I am a good writer? Can't I prove this by showing people the comment of readers like you? So, let those glamorous materialistic promoting stuffs at their place and let me be here with you all. I need your comments rather than some newspaper talking about my success in the field or other bloggers saluting me for leading them. I am happy to be a Small one who is not yet featured anywhere. :-) Miley nahi toh angoor khattey hain- ye waali baat nahi hai yahaan. I would seriously plaint myself of being an ostentatious blogger if I'll have no true readers while I'll keep getting featured in every renowned sections of newspapers. 


            I don't want to be called Sachin Tendulkar of Blogging but I want to be known as The Wall of Blogging. Hehehe. :-) Who will bear the accusations and delegations if I'll die at my 999th Blog Post? :-) Now signing off. Because 500th BLOG POST is almost like a Festival to me but it may irritate you. Oh, Sorry, I know you love my blog but still, an interminable post will always be hated. :-) I would like to thank all the readers of my Blog, all the people who are with me on Twitter (you guys rock), all the people on Facebook who keep posting my Blog's link on their wall without my permission(Hehehe. P.S. Free Promotion :-)) and all the people who make their relatives read my blog after liking it. I have even received emails from parents of some young readers who told me that their son or daughter reads my blog and recommended them too and since then, they have made a daily regimen of reading a post of my blog. Can a 22 year boy expect more than this?
