I have finally completed an another book- AUTUMN IN MY HEART by Saptarshi Basu. It is a very short story which gets completed in just 162 pages. :-) So, it gives a positive feeling to you when you start the book. This is the second attempt by Saptarshi Basu after his first book- Love, Logic and The God's Algorithm. I haven't read the first book still but I went for reading the second one. Let's talk about the author first- A Gold Medallist in Mechanical Engineering, Saptarshi Basu has worked with the top 3 IT MNCs in India. He had subsequently lived in London, Toronto, Dubai and San Francisco before moving back to his native place, Kolkata. A prolific blogger and an avid traveller, he has been into writing for long having published his poems and stories in different magazines of his earlier organizations.
Coming to the story, AUTUMN IN MY HEART is a story of Deb and Ayantika who falls in love after adding each other on Social Networking site- Orkut. Their love saga continues over late night SMS chatting. Ayantika's mother has almost arranged her marriage with Sujoy. How, Ayantika deals with both the parties- Parents and Deb is an interesting tale. Vinod, the boss of Saurabh is ready to make him the victim of his homo approach. :-) At last, Vinod is caught by Deb when he was about to penetrate Saurabh. :-) Deb also gets into flirt relationship with Sagarika even when he is committed to Ayantika. On the other end, Sujoy and Sagarika are ready to fall in love with each other. The story of this book revolves around all these characters and their confusing stories which is attached to each other.
Coming to the drawback, as soon as you start getting deeper into a part of the book, the scene changes and you find yourself in the story of another character. This keeps pissing you throughout the book. No character is defined nicely as Deb's character. So, till the end, you only watch out for Deb's character taking other characters for granted. The story moves very fast as the author has been given limit of pages to write the story in. The story could have been written quite nicely with nice description of each character and incident. This book is a lit read. I will rate this book- 2.5 out of 5.

Synopsis:
Oh no- it-s Monday (Mun-da-ne)! The office here is an engineering firm which is in the process of making its mark in the world. In such an industry, here is a peek -a-boo of what actually happens. This story revolves around two main characters working for this corporation - zahir pathan and khushi patil - and their struggle to prove themselves as worthy employees. Work, work and work! Does it seem like deja vu? Well, a wave of relief is brought by zahir. He travels into his yesteryears in college giving khushi a glimpse of what he experienced during his nourishing days. Phase one begins with his five college friends, including zahir, who are invited forcibly by one of their not-so-friendly-friend to his ancestral home where they created havoc but managed to survive the wrath of his parents. These five have an insatiable hunger for creating problems. Enjoy their antics at a new year-s Eve party and their naughtiness during an industrial trip to Goa, along with the girls! Amidst the roller coaster ride, zahir manages to find love in a lissom girl called Rashmi, his college friend, which unfortunately ends up disastrously. what is the reason? Will they reunite or does life has a different plot ready for them? And where does Khushi fit in? A tale well spun having an essence of humour and love. -CHARLIEZZ...- will make you nostalgically recall your days in college.

Trupthi Guttal born and brought up in Bangalore. She has graduated from M.S.Ramaiah College of engineering, Bangalore, but hailing from a rich cultural belt of North Karnataka is a 24 year old budding author. Having pursued Engineering in the field of Chemical, she is currently working in a design consultancy firm as a Design Engineer. Zeeshan Farooqui born and brought up in Dharwad. He has graduated from KLE-s college of Engineering, Belgaum. He is a Chemical Engineer by profession. He is presently working as Assistant Manager in a design consultancy firm in Bangalore. He has completed his MBA from IBMT, Bangalore, in marketing management.
Review:
I am still unable to understand the purpose of the story narrated through this book. The book is interesting initially. The book has a very nice sense of humour initially. The people who have experienced the thrashes of their boss will understand the problem of protagonists very nicely. Authors have tried to narrate the story in a very distinct manner. I appreciate them for trying something new but I found only Conversation and Conversation and Conversation in the book. I was dying to read some effective paragraphs but my expectations fell badly. I would not recommend this book to anyone. I am rating this 1 out of 5.

2011 is gone. The best year of my life has gone. It has left me. It has left me but it has given me an another year- 2012 to cherish, live, enjoy, celebrate, rule, develop, improve and rejoice in every moment of it. I still remember my trauma and state of mind when 2010 left me and I entered into 2011. 2010 was a very good year to me in terms of achievements and experiences. I grew a lot in 2010 and it helped me to get my confidence back which I lost in 2007. I almost fell in love with 2010. But, when 2011 started, I had a faith in me that I will give my 100% to this year but I was unsure of what the year will give me back in return of all the efforts I'll apply to it. But, now I got to learn a lesson that- God helps Those Who Helps Themselves !!! I worked very hard in 2010, I got the results. I worked more harder in 2011, I got better results and more satisfaction. Now, 2012 has begun today and I have started it with this Blog Post. :-) 2012 is already a controversial year for everyone all over the world. Many scriptures with Mayan Calendar believes that World will end on 21st December 2012. We have already seen a trailer of it in 2011 in Japan. That was too threatening. I just don't want to see my death. I want it to come either when I'm asleep or when I'm not in my senses. :-) Let's see what 2012 is going to be like. Will I get a chance to write 1st BLOG POST OF 2013 on the first day of 2013? I hope 2012 will be sweeter. :-) Uff, am I sounding too scared? Ok, I am. :-)
Every year, we make some Resolutions. It is very common. Even when we know that we have been failing regularly in executing any of our resolutions in previous years, we still keep a troth in ourselves and make a New Resolution for a Brand New Year. My resolution of 2010 was to be a better Writer and I saw a nice change in my Writing style/career. My resolution of 2011 was to start exercising. I know you want to know whether I did it or not. :-) Ok, I started going to gym regularly with my friends but ended it after 2 months. Yes, the excuse is the same. I didn't got time for it. :-) But, I must say that I found lots of changes in my body and strength after I began exercising. I found myself lot smarter than before. I hope I'll begin exercising in my home again. Once, I'll gain the confidence that I'm not going to fool myself again with certain monotonous excuses, I will join a nice gym and start exercising regularly. I sleep for less than 3-4 hours daily. I will sleep little more than this. But I don't think I'll be able to do this because fulfilling my dreams need time and God has allotted just 24 hours in a day which seems to be less to me. :-) Waisey, its fun to sleep at 4 AM and get up at 7.30 AM during college times. :-)
The next Biggest Resolution of 2012 is to pass the CET Examination of MCA-Masters in Computer Applications and get the most comfortable college in Mumbai so that I can travel easily and complete my studies. I have brought the best book needed to study for this CET exam. I hope I'll start going through it soon. I just want myself in MCA in 2012. I don't want to waste one more year of my life. Many people are advising me to start job/service in a private organization but I am not crazy for job yet. I am Okay with studies. :-) Uff !!!
The 2nd Biggest Priority of this year after joining MCA is passing BCA-Bachelors in Computer Application in a perfect 3 years time. From 9th January, my final semester of BCA is beginning. I hope my result of 5th Semester will be nice so that I can prepare for my final examination quite positively and pragmatically. Hey God, Bless me. :-) One Year DROP is Not a Good Thing.
The 3rd Resolution is to write more than 200 Blog Posts. I hope I'll give a better performance than 2011. I wrote 155 Blog Posts last year which is hidden in Hierarchical order on the blog page as 2012 has begun. It feels so sad to see all my posts getting shrunk because they belong to previous years. :-( Even if 200 posts will not be accomplished, I'll try for writing more than 155 posts i.e. the no. of posts I wrote last year.
The 4th Biggest Resolution will be to start writing my Debut Novel. I am already working on Plot and Characters. Once, this is done, I will start scripting my story. I am getting pushes from many of you. I hope I will at least start writing it. Let it get completed by 2013. :-)
The 5th Biggest Resolution is to read 50 books. There are 52 Weeks in a Year. So, I will try to finish a book every week. This will help me in getting my target fulfilled. :)
So, these are the major resolutions I have in 2012. It is just the First Day of 2012 and I already have a To-Do List. :-) I don't know how am I going to accomplish all these resolutions but I am sure about my dedication and commitment. I will do it. Either- Early or Lately. :-) There are many more targets to be accomplished in 2012 but I'll not discuss it here. I don't want to make this post boring. It has already turned quite boring. :-)
Ending with, I know all of you are partying as its 12 AM now and no one is reading it. But, still, a very Happy New Year to all of you. May 2012 turns out to be the best year for all of us. I hope we will kick 21st December, 2012 away from us and make this Earth a Permanent place. :-) Let's see 2012 as the most positive year of our life. I have a little fear in my heart about 2012 as how is it going to be for me in every terms. But, I have faith in God and faith in Universe. I will try to give my best and I hope I'll get the best in return. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 to ALL MY READERS OF BLOGS AND FOLLOWERS OF TWEETS. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL. MAY I SERVE ALL OF YOU BETTER THAN LAST YEAR.
